Scenic Portraits
This is a more casual option to the traditional portrait and is priced accordingly. It places the subject(s) in a setting such as the beach, garden, park, sporting venue, etc. The figures are in candid poses and sized to compliment the scene. While the subjects are recognizable, a specific portrait likeness is NOT a consideration. This commission can be done from your personal family photos (of good quality) or photos taken by myself on location. All work is unframed.
While photographs are used for reference, the painting is entirely original — rendered with no mechanical means, computer enhancements or photographic projection. Creation of a unique family treasure is the goal.
